Hi There, I’m Jimmy!

I feel that if I am going to play such a significant role on your wedding day, we should get to know one another first.

My names Jimmy and I have grown up on the Northern Beaches of Sydney. I guess this is where I fell into my passion for photography, starting in surf and venturing into fashion. It wasn’t until I assisted a friend on a wedding that I completely fell in love with it. I used to be a plumber before I started photographing weddings and hated my job. I received zero satisfaction, grinding out five days a week, waiting for the weekend. Starting to think about life, I came to the realisation that I would instead do something I love, telling peoples stories on their wedding day is the best way for me to enjoy it.

I love all of the raw, organic emotions, that come out on a wedding day, friends and family celebrating such a monumental event in your lives.

I feel that every step is just as equally important as the wedding day itself. From the initial point of contact, all the way up until the final delivery of your photographs. I take pride in curating an experience for my couples as I believe people should enjoy the planning stages and not stress out.

I feel that the best way to photograph a wedding is to document it as it unfolds naturally in front of me. Capture it truthfully and not stage or force anything. I pride myself in capturing those in-between moments that often slip by unnoticed. Whether it be a tear, rolling down dads face, when he sees his daughter in her dress for the first time, or the look the groom has on his face when he catches sight of his bride walking down the aisle. All those real emotions on your day, something that sparks a feeling.

Feeling a little awkward in front of the camera is entirely normal, and every couple I shoot feels this way before the wedding. I try and keep my images as natural as possible and will not have you posing stiffly in front of the camera looking like you never normally would. I want you hanging out, focusing on having fun. This is when we will get the most naturally beautiful photographs.
